Charly White Vivid Leadership

Meet Charly White, specialist charity leadership trainer and coach

With a background in fundraising for Charities such as the NSPCC and The National Trust, Charly understands all too well the challenges that come with working in the charity sector. Since qualifying as a coach and trainer, she has supported over 900 non-profit leaders both online and face-to-face. 

Thoughtful, friendly, and dedicated, Charly’s approachable nature is often what stands out the most when it comes to her working relationships. In fact, her Dad sums her up in a beautifully succinct way, “Charly doesn’t walk into a room and say, ‘here I am’, but instead walks in and says, ‘there you are’.”

She adores working with leaders and teams who are committed to wanting to work even more effectively together, and have plenty of fun along the way too! She loves to see the ‘penny drop’ moment, or equally the slow dawning as they uncover their answer and way forward. It’s magic to witness and support clients in that process.


Charly lives with her family in Bristol, where she is also a trustee of Penny Brohn UK.

Top Tip: Do more of what you love. People tend to burn out or lose direction in life, not because they’re doing too much, but because they’re doing too little of what they love.

Lorna Clark Vivid Leadership

Lorna Clarke, associate coach, facilitator & trainer

Lorna is a qualified and accredited leadership coach and facilitator with a background in senior leadership roles in professional services, start-ups and the third sector.

Lorna’s interest in leadership and what makes a high-performing team began in 2004, as she worked with a coach as she transitioned to a director role at Deloitte. Today, she often works with individuals and teams who are navigating significant transitions and change. Clients include NHS, M&S, KTN (part of Innovate UK), Sight Research UK and IRISi. Lorna really enjoys the people she works with, and feels privileged to be alongside them in a coaching conversation.

As her clients grow in confidence in their ability, and recognise more of their innate strengths and talents, Lorna loves being part of their transformational journey. Honest, curious, and empathetic, she prides herself on her integrity and compassion.

In her spare time, Lorna is a mentor for Junction 21, a project working with young people at risk.

On working with the team at Vivid, Lorna says, “I always enjoy working with clients in the charity sector, and the commitment I see and hear to the cause and to making a real difference to the lives of others. I also really enjoy working with Charly. I always feel appreciated and valued in our conversations, and that I have the opportunity to bring my experience into any training we’re delivering rather than having to do this in a set way.”

Top Tip: Have self-compassion. Often we push ourselves too hard, put high expectations on ourselves and judge and criticise ourselves harshly. This can cause us a lot of anxiety and distress.  Cultivating greater self-compassion can be a valuable antidote to this.

Lisa Grove Vivid Leadership

Lisa Grove - Operations/Office Manager

Lisa has over 20 years of experience in business support and ensures that Vivid maintains the processes and structures to support our continued business growth.

Highly skilled and versatile, Lisa is trained in business administration, bookkeeping, customer service, international trade and service, and of course…..project management.

She has previously worked with a variety of different businesses across an array of sectors, including pharma, fashion, and aerospace. This has given her an insight into various different systems and structures, as well as what works and what doesn’t. She uses this knowledge to support and develop our business as we continue to grow and reach more clients.

Caring, dedicated, and trustworthy, Lisa loves supporting the team, keeping everyone focused, energised, upbeat, and happy. 

She loves the Dorset Coast, loathes wasps, and has a slight obsession with Emma Bridgewater mugs. When Lisa’s not working, she’s kept busy by her two boys, aged 16 and 8 (whom Lisa describes as ‘going on 28!’) and their scatty springer spaniel.
